*Compositions will be judged on originality and authenticity. Demo songs are not supposed to be drum solos... though a section that features a drum solo is acceptable.

Each composition can be as simple as a bass line, some sound FX and a drum groove. The primary focus must be creative sound design, authentic grooves and individuality. *You may want to record your drum grooves first (using acoustic or electronic drums) and then mix them with Synthesizer sounds and other FX using programs such as Cubase VST, ACID, Mixman or Emagic Logic. You might also investigate using sampling groove machines such as the Yamaha RS7000. The end result is what counts. Good luck to all of you!
