HQ Percussion Products announces four new RealFeel practice pads, all designed with the active tenor drummer in mind. Developed in conjunction with John Brennan, Percussion Instructor and Tenor Technician of the top-ranked, award-winning Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, the RealFeel Tenor Practice Pads offer true-to-size playing surfaces that allow the drummer to practice on a device that replicates the position of the drums on a tenor set.

The RF-TP-6LT (shown here) and RF-TP-5ST have playing zones mapped out for each drum and each surface has a target for each stick, in order to teach proper technique through playing areas. The RF-TP-6LT is for players who use large size drums (10", 12", 13" and 14") with two 6" shot drums, while the RF-TP-5ST is for tenor players who use small size drums (8", 10", 12", and 13") with one 6" shot drum. The U.S. retail list price for both models is $109.95.

The RF-TP-6LS and RF-TP-5SS do not have playing zones mapped out, thus allowing for more freedom to get around the drums, without the restrictions of precise playing areas. The RF-TP-6LS is for players who use large size drums (10", 12", 13" and 14") with two 6" shot drums, while the RF-TP-5SS is for tenor players who use small size drums (8", 10", 12", and 13") with one 6" shot drum. The U.S. retail list price and availability for both of these models will be announced soon.

The RealFeel Tenor Practice Pads are available now from your favorite drum shop or music store.
