Here's a cool tip for a quick set-up. I had a weekly gig at a club and I got tired of breaking down and setting up every week. So, I thought I came up with a smaller jungle / club kit idea that would allow me to cover a lot of ground playing wise.

One essential piece is the Pearl JG-16 which allows you to convert your 16" Floor Tom into a Bass Drum without drilling any holes or making permanent changes to the shell of your floor tom.

I also used a 10" and 14" Rotos for regular sounds with triggers on the snare, trigger pedal on the right of my double pedal for electronic sounds from my Roland SPD-S along with a cowbell and tamborine.

The kik / floor sounds so beefy. I get compliments on it all the time.
